Ingredients

  • 1 cup Gluten-Free Pancake Mix
  • 0.75 cup Milk
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup
  • 0.5 pound Ground Pork
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon Dried Sage
  • 0.25 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 4 slices Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil

Directions

Step 1

In a mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free pancake mix, milk, egg, and maple syrup. Whisk until smooth and set aside.

Step 2

In another bowl, mix together ground pork, salt, black pepper, dried sage, garlic powder, and onion powder. Divide the mixture into four equal parts and shape them into patties slightly larger than the size of your pancake molds or rings.

Step 3

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat with a small amount of vegetable oil. Cook the sausage patties for 4-5 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and keep them warm.
