Ingredients

  • 4 pieces (about 6 ounces each) Swordfish steaks
  • 0.25 cup Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon zest
  • 3 minced Garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons, chopped Fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon, chopped Fresh basil
  • 1 teaspoon, chopped Fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 pieces Lemon wedges

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, parsley, basil, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create the marinade.

Step 2

Place the swordfish steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Turn the steaks to ensure they are evenly coated. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Step 3

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Brush the grill grates with a little oil to prevent sticking.

Step 4

Remove the swordfish from the marinade and shake off any excess. Discard the leftover marinade.

Step 5

Place the swordfish steaks on the grill. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is opaque throughout and has nice grill marks.

Step 6

Remove from the grill and let the fish rest for a few minutes. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
