Ingredients

  • 4 6 oz each Wagyu beef patties
  • 4 Gluten-free hamburger buns
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 Butter lettuce leaves
  • 1 large, sliced Tomato
  • 1 small, thinly sliced Red onion
  • 4 tablespoons Gluten-free mayonnaise
  • 4 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 2

Brush both sides of each Wagyu beef patty with olive oil, then season with salt and black pepper.

Step 3

Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness.

Step 4

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt the cheese.

Step 5

While the patties are cooking, slice the gluten-free buns in half and lightly toast them on the grill or in a toaster.

Step 6

Spread 1 tablespoon of gluten-free mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun and 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard on the top half.

Step 7

Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, followed by a cheesy Wagyu patty, a slice of tomato, and a few slices of red onion.

Step 8

Place the top bun over the stack and serve the burgers immediately with your favorite gluten-free side.
