Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 240 ml Buttermilk
  • 120 g Gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 60 g Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 500 ml Vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1

Slice the chicken breasts into thin, fry-like strips, aiming for uniform thickness for even cooking.

Step 2

Place the chicken strips in a bowl and pour the buttermilk over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours for maximum tenderness.

Step 3

In a shallow dish, mix together the gluten-free flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.

In another bowl, beat the eggs until well combined.
