Directions

Step 1

Begin by draining the tofu and wrapping it in a clean kitchen towel. Place a heavy object on top, like a cast iron skillet, to press out excess moisture for at least 15 minutes.

While the tofu is pressing, prepare the marinade by mixing together the tamari, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper in a shallow dish.
