  • 3 cups Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 1 cup Whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 0.5 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 0.5 teaspoon Vanilla extract (for cream)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour, xanthan gum, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Step 2

In another bowl, beat the eggs and add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Whisk until well combined.

Step 3

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a smooth batter forms. Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.

In a medium saucepan, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
