  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 pieces Large eggs
  • 1 cup Milk (or non-dairy alternative)
  • 1 cup Fruit jelly or jam
  • 3 cups Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 0.25 cup Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour blend, xanthan gum, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

Step 2

In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter, vanilla extract, eggs, and milk. Whisk until well combined.

Step 3

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms. It should be slightly sticky but manageable.

Flour a clean surface lightly with gluten-free flour and turn the dough onto it. Knead gently for a minute.
