Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups Gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 2.25 teaspoons Instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Granulated sugar
  • 1.25 cups Warm water
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Cornmeal
  • 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cups Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup Tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried basil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup Choice of gluten-free toppings (pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, etc.)

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, instant yeast, salt, and sugar.

Step 2

Add the warm water and 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix well until a sticky dough forms.

Step 3

Cover the dough with a clean cloth and let it rise in a warm area for about 30 minutes.

Step 4

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Step 5

Grease a 10-inch round deep-dish pizza pan with the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and sprinkle it with cornmeal.

Step 6

After the dough has risen, transfer it to the prepared pan and spread it evenly, ensuring it goes up the sides of the pan to form a crust.

Step 7

Layer the mozzarella cheese evenly across the bottom of the crust.

Step 8

Mix the tomato sauce with the oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes; then spread over the cheese layer.

Step 9

Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the sauce and add your chosen gluten-free toppings.

Step 10

Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 22-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Step 11

Allow the pizza to cool for about 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
