Ingredients

  • 200 grams Dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher)
  • 150 grams Unsalted butter
  • 150 grams Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 4 Large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).

Grease a 9-inch (23 cm) springform pan and then line the bottom with parchment paper.

In a medium-sized heatproof bowl, combine the dark chocolate and butter. Melt the mixture using a double boiler or in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval until smooth.

Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the granulated sugar and vanilla extract until well combined.
