Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1.5 teaspoons Ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.25 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 0.5 cup Milk (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.25 cup Cinnamon sugar (for topping)
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, melted (for topping)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a donut pan with non-stick cooking spray.

Step 2

In a large bowl, whisk together the gluten-free all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, salt, and granulated sugar until well combined.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, whisk the melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

Step 4

Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Step 5

Spoon the batter into a pastry bag or a zip-top bag with the corner snipped off, and pipe the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full.

Step 6

Bake the donuts in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until they spring back when lightly pressed.

Step 7

Remove the donuts from the oven and let them cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Step 8

While the donuts are still warm, brush the tops lightly with melted butter and dip them in the cinnamon sugar to coat.

Step 9

Serve warm for the best flavor and texture, or allow to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
