Ingredients

  • 500 grams Minced chicken
  • 1 large, finely chopped Onion
  • 1 tablespoon, grated Fresh ginger
  • 3 minced Garlic cloves
  • 2 large, finely chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 finely chopped Green chili
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon or to taste Salt
  • 2 tablespoons, chopped Cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 100 milliliters Water

Directions

Step 1

Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Step 2

Add the finely chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.

Step 3

Stir in the grated ginger and minced garlic; sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Step 4

Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they are soft and the oil starts to separate from the mixture.

Mix in the turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Cook for about 2 minutes to let the spices bloom.
