  • 30 grams Unsalted butter

  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 large Egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Gluten-free flour

Directions

Step 1

Peel, core, and dice the apples into small pieces.

Step 2

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the diced apples, sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are soft and slightly caramelized.

Stir in the vanilla extract and cook for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let the apple filling cool completely.
