Ingredients

  • 500 g Ground beef
  • 250 g Ground pork
  • 100 g Gluten-free breadcrumbs
  • 60 ml Milk
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 small Onion
  • 3 small Garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Gluten-free soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F).

Step 2

Finely chop the onion and garlic cloves.

Step 3

In a small bowl, combine the gluten-free breadcrumbs and milk, allowing them to soak together for about 5 minutes.

Step 4

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, and the breadcrumb mixture.

Step 5

Add the chopped onion and garlic to the meat mixture.

Step 6

Lightly beat the egg and add it to the mixture along with chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, gluten-free soy sauce, and paprika.

Step 7

Using clean hands or a spoon, mix all the ingredients until well combined. Avoid over-mixing as this can toughen the meatballs.

Step 8

Shape the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter, placing them on a plate as you go.

Step 9

Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.

Step 10

Once the oil is hot, add the meatballs in batches and sear them until browned on all sides, about 5-6 minutes.

Step 11

Transfer the skillet with the seared meatballs into the preheated oven.

Step 12

Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and have reached an internal temperature of 75°C (167°F).

Step 13

Remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Step 14

Serve the gluten-free meatballs with your choice of gluten-free pasta, rice, or a fresh salad.
