Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 100 grams Gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 50 grams Cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Milk
  • 150 grams Gluten-free breadcrumbs
  • 500 ml Vegetable oil
  • 250 ml Gluten-free BBQ sauce

Directions

Step 1

Cut the boneless, skinless chicken breasts into approximately 1 to 1.5-inch cubes for uniform cooking.

Step 2

In a shallow bowl, mix together the gluten-free flour, cornstarch, salt, ground black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

Step 3

In another bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together until well combined.

Step 4

Put the gluten-free breadcrumbs in a third bowl.

Step 5

Dip each piece of chicken into the flour mixture first, ensuring it is fully coated. Shake off any excess flour.

Step 6

Next, dip the floured chicken in the egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off.

Step 7

Roll the chicken in the gluten-free breadcrumbs, pressing lightly to ensure an even coating on all sides.

Step 8

In a large skillet or deep pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches about 350°F (175°C).

Step 9

Fry the breaded chicken pieces in batches, making sure to not overcrowd the pan. Cook for about 5-6 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.

Step 10

Remove the chicken wings from the oil and let them drain on a plate lined with paper towels to remove excess oil.

Step 11

In a saucepan over medium heat, warm the gluten-free BBQ sauce until heated through.

Step 12

Toss the fried chicken wings in the warm BBQ sauce until generously coated.

Step 13

Serve immediately with extra BBQ sauce on the side if desired.
