Ingredients

  • 2 slices gluten-free sandwich bread
  • 2 strips bacon strips
  • 1 piece large egg
  • 1 slice cheddar cheese, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon oil (for frying bacon and egg)

Directions

Step 1

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add the oil.

Step 2

Fry the bacon strips for 3-4 minutes on each side or until crispy to your liking. Remove bacon from the skillet and set aside on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Step 3

In the same skillet, crack the egg and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the white is set and the yolk reaches your desired doneness. Gently remove the egg and set aside.

Lightly butter one side of each slice of the gluten-free bread with unsalted butter.
