Ingredients

  • 1 Gluten-free English muffin
  • 2 Bacon slices
  • 1 Large egg
  • 1 Cheddar cheese slice
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Begin by preheating a skillet over medium heat.

Step 2

Add the bacon slices to the skillet and cook until they are crispy, approximately 3-4 minutes on each side. Once cooked, remove the bacon from the skillet and place on a paper towel to drain excess grease.

Step 3

While the bacon is cooking, slice the gluten-free English muffin in half and lightly toast both halves in a toaster or under a broiler until golden brown.

Step 4

In the same skillet, melt half of the butter to prevent sticking. Crack the egg into the skillet and season with salt and black pepper. Cook the egg to your preferred doneness; a common preparation is over-easy, which takes about 2-3 minutes per side.

Step 5

Once the egg is cooked, remove it from the skillet and set aside temporarily. In the skillet, add the remaining butter and place the toasted English muffin halves face down to slightly brown them, about 1 minute.

Step 6

Assemble the sandwich by placing the cooked bacon slices on one half of the toasted English muffin. Top with the cooked egg and then place the cheddar cheese slice on the egg so it begins to melt from the warmth.

Step 7

Cover with the other half of the English muffin and gently press down.

Step 8

Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Gluten-Free Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on English Muffin.
