Ingredients

  • 2 racks Baby back ribs
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Paprika
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Apple cider vinegar
  • 1.5 cups BBQ sauce

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C).

Step 2

Prepare the ribs by removing the thin membrane from the back of each rack. Use a knife to loosen the edge, then peel it off using a paper towel for grip.

Step 3

In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to create the dry rub.

Step 4

Pat the ribs dry with paper towels, then drizzle olive oil on both sides and rub it in evenly.

Step 5

Generously coat the ribs with the dry rub, pressing it into the meat to ensure it sticks.

Step 6

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil, meat side up. Cover the ribs tightly with another piece of foil to lock in moisture.

Step 7

Bake the ribs in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the meat is tender and begins to pull away from the bones.

Step 8

Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully uncover the foil. Brush the ribs generously with apple cider vinegar on both sides to add tangy moisture.

Step 9

Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Brush a thick layer of BBQ sauce over the ribs, then return them (uncovered) to the oven.

Step 10

Bake for an additional 20–30 minutes, basting the ribs every 10 minutes with more BBQ sauce, until the sauce is caramelized and sticky.

Step 11

Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing into individual pieces.

Step 12

Serve warm with extra BBQ sauce on the side, and enjoy your Glen S Yummy Baby Back Ribs!
