  • 500 g ground ham
  • 500 g ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 pieces large egg
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 0.25 cup ketchup
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a loaf pan.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground ham, ground pork, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, chopped onion, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly combined.

Step 3

Transfer the meat mixture into the prepared loaf pan, pressing it down firmly to shape it into a smooth, even loaf.

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and ketchup. Stir until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is smooth. Remove from heat.
