  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 0.25 teaspoons Ground cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 medium Green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 small Jalapeño, diced (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Drain any excess grease and transfer the beef to the crock pot.

Step 2

In the same skillet, add the diced onion and bell pepper. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant. Transfer to the crock pot.
