Ingredients

  • 12 pieces Fresh jalapeños
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 6 slices Bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 0.5 cup Panko bread crumbs (optional, for added crunch)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.

Step 2

Wash the jalapeños thoroughly, then slice them in half lengthwise. Use a spoon to remove the seeds and membranes (wear gloves to protect your hands if needed).

Step 3

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, cooked bacon, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix until smooth and well incorporated.

Step 4

Using a spoon or piping bag, fill each jalapeño half with the cream cheese mixture, slightly mounding it over the top.

Step 5

If desired, sprinkle panko bread crumbs over the stuffed jalapeños for extra crunch. Lightly drizzle them with olive oil to help with browning.

Step 6

Arrange the jalapeños on the prepared baking sheet, cut side up. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the jalapeños are tender and the tops are golden brown.

Step 7

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with additional chopped parsley if desired.

Step 8

Serve warm and enjoy your Gino's Jalapeños as a flavorful appetizer or snack!
