  • 4 Egg whites
  • 1.5 cups Sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup Chopped pecans
  • 1 can Sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 Egg yolks (for filling)
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter (for filling)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract (for filling)
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 8 ounces Milk chocolate, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter (for ganache)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour three 9-inch round cake pans.

In a small bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder and boiling water until smooth. Let it cool to room temperature.
