  • 2 large eggs

  • 0.25 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 3 liters water

Directions

Step 1

Cut the stale bread rolls into small 1/2-inch cubes and place them in a large mixing bowl.

Warm the milk gently in a small saucepan or in the microwave, then pour it evenly over the bread cubes. Let them soak for 10 minutes, tossing occasionally, until the bread becomes soft but not completely mushy.
