  • 2 8-ounce steaks Ribeye steak (or preferred cut)
  • 6 whole Garlic cloves
  • 2 sprigs Fresh rosemary sprigs
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons Kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Remove the steaks from the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking to allow them to come to room temperature.

Step 2

Pat the steaks dry with paper towels and season both sides generously with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Peel the garlic cloves and smash them lightly with the flat side of a knife to release their aroma.

Heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat until very hot, about 2-3 minutes.
