Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 115 grams Cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 50 grams Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F). Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.

Step 2

In a medium-sized bowl, combine the minced garlic, cream cheese, parsley, Parmesan cheese, 0.5 teaspoon of salt, and 0.25 teaspoon of black pepper. Mix until well combined to create the garlic-cheese filling.

Step 3

Lay each chicken breast flat on a cutting board. Using a sharp knife, carefully cut a pocket into the thickest part of each chicken breast without cutting all the way through.

Step 4

Stuff each chicken pocket with a generous spoonful of the garlic-cheese filling, using your fingers or a small spoon to press it in evenly. Secure the opening with toothpicks if necessary to keep the filling from spilling out while cooking.

Step 5

Season the outside of each stuffed chicken breast with the remaining 0.5 teaspoon of salt, 0.25 teaspoon of black pepper, and the paprika for added flavor and color.

Step 6

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear the stuffed chicken breasts for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown. This helps to lock in moisture and adds a nice crust.

Step 7

Transfer the seared chicken breasts to the prepared baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 74°C (165°F).

Step 8

Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Remove toothpicks if used.

Step 9

Serve the garlic stuffed chicken breasts warm with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh garden salad.
