Ingredients

  • 16 pieces Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 0.5 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1.5 teaspoons Wasabi paste
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped fresh parsley (optional garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Rinse and pat dry the shrimp to remove excess moisture.

Step 2

In a medium-sized bowl, toss the shrimp with minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated. Set aside while preparing the dipping sauce.

Step 3

In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, wasabi paste, lemon juice, and soy sauce until smooth. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Step 4

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the shrimp in a single layer (cook in batches if necessary).

Step 5

Sear the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and are fully cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Step 6

Transfer the shrimp to a serving platter and garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.

Step 7

Serve the garlic shrimp warm alongside the wasabi mayonnaise dipping sauce. Enjoy!
