Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French baguette
  • 4 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic cloves
  • 12 pieces Jumbo prawns (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoons Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Slice the baguette into 12 thin rounds. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides lightly with 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

Step 3

Toast the baguette slices in the oven for 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crisp. Remove and set aside.

Finely mince the garlic cloves and set them aside.

Step 5

In a large skillet, heat the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
