  • 4 pieces Hamburger buns
  • 2 tbsp Butter (softened)
  • 4 pieces Cheddar cheese (slices)
  • 4 pieces Lettuce leaves
  • 8 pieces Tomato slices
  • 4 slices Pickles (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently with your hands until just combined; do not overmix.

Step 2

Divide the beef mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties, slightly larger than the size of your hamburger buns to account for shrinkage during cooking. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb to prevent puffing up while cooking.
