Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Steak (ribeye, strip, or filet mignon)
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 3 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Prepared horseradish (not cream-style)
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and place a rack in the middle position.

Remove the steaks from the refrigerator and pat them dry with paper towels. Season each steak on both sides with salt and black pepper.

Heat a large, oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and sear the steaks for 2-3 minutes per side until a golden-brown crust forms. Remove the steaks from the skillet and set them aside on a plate.
