Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Feta cheese
  • 4 ounces Cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 3 Garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh dill (chopped)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 pieces Pita bread
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil (for pita chips)
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt (for pita chips)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

To make the dip, combine the feta cheese, cream cheese, and Greek yogurt in a food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Step 3

Add the minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, fresh dill, salt, and black pepper to the food processor. Blend again until all ingredients are fully incorporated. Taste and adjust seasoning, if needed.

Step 4

Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Step 5

While the dip chills, prepare the pita chips. Slice each pita bread into 8 wedges and arrange them on a baking sheet in a single layer.

Step 6

Brush the pita wedges with olive oil on both sides and sprinkle with dried oregano and salt.

Step 7

Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until the pita chips are golden brown and crispy. Check occasionally to avoid over-browning.

Step 8

Remove the pita chips from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.

Step 9

Serve the garlic feta dip chilled with warm or room-temperature pita chips for dipping.
