  • 2 tablespoons Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, granulated sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for 5-7 minutes until the yeast is bubbly and activated.

Add salt, melted butter, and 2 cups of flour to the yeast mixture. Mix until well combined, then gradually add the remaining flour. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic, or use a stand mixer with a dough hook for 5 minutes.
