Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Salmon fillets
  • 120 grams Cream cheese
  • 3 pieces Garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 50 grams Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon Butter

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.

Step 2

In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese, minced garlic, chopped fresh dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Step 3

Using a sharp knife, carefully cut slits in the middle of each salmon fillet to create a pocket for the filling. Be careful not to cut all the way through.

Step 4

Stuff each salmon fillet with an equal portion of the cream cheese mixture. Press the pockets gently to close them as much as possible.

Step 5

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the stuffed salmon fillets for 2 minutes on each side to lock in the flavors, then transfer them to the prepared baking sheet.

Step 6

In a small pan, melt the butter and stir in the panko breadcrumbs. Cook until the breadcrumbs are golden brown and crisp, then sprinkle them evenly over the stuffed salmon fillets.

Step 7

Drizzle the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over the fillets. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Step 8

Serve the Garlic and Cream Cheese Stuffed Salmon with your favorite sides, such as steamed vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad. Enjoy!
