Ingredients

  • 450 grams fresh green beans
  • 60 grams slivered almonds
  • 3 cloves garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
  • 120 milliliters water

Directions

Step 1

Wash the green beans thoroughly. Trim off the ends and set them aside.

Step 2

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the slivered almonds. Toast them for about 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until they are golden brown and fragrant. Remove the almonds from the skillet and set them aside.

In the same skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat until the butter is melted and begins to foam.
