  • 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 12 lasagna noodles

Directions

Step 1

In a large skillet, heat over medium heat and cook the ground beef, ground Italian sausage, chopped onion, and minced garlic until the meat is browned and the onions are soft. Drain any excess grease.

Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and tomato sauce to the skillet. Stir in the sugar, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
