  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 50 grams, grated parmesan cheese
  • 6 leaves, for garnish fresh basil leaves

Directions

Step 1

Fill a large pot with water, add a pinch of salt, and bring to a boil over high heat.

Step 2

Once boiling, add the fusilli pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set aside.

While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
