Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 4 pieces black tea bags
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 4 pieces orange slices
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • 2 cups cold water

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the fresh mint leaves thoroughly and set them aside.

Step 2

In a large heatproof bowl or teapot, add the black tea bags and fresh mint leaves.

Step 3

Pour the boiling water over the tea bags and mint leaves. Cover and let steep for 7-10 minutes.

Step 4

While the tea is steeping, slice the orange into thin slices and prepare the strawberries by slicing them.

Step 5

After steeping, remove the tea bags and mint leaves and discard them.

Step 6

Stir in the honey and lemon juice until fully dissolved for a hint of sweetness and tanginess.

Step 7

Add the orange slices and sliced strawberries to the tea. Stir gently to combine and let the tea cool to room temperature for about 5 minutes.
