  • 200 grams all-purpose flour

  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 500 ml vegetable oil
  • 4 pieces burger buns
  • 4 pieces lettuce leaves
  • 4 pieces tomato slices
  • 100 grams mayonnaise
  • 4 slices pickles

Directions

Step 1

Slice each chicken breast in half horizontally to get four thin fillets. Pound them gently to even thickness, if necessary.

Step 2

In a bowl, combine buttermilk, half of the salt, and half of the black pepper. Submerge the chicken fillets in the buttermilk mixture, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.

In a shallow dish, mix the flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and the remaining salt and black pepper.
