Ingredients

  • 1 ball (about 1 lb) Pizza dough
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1.5 cups Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup Bell peppers (assorted colors, thinly sliced)
  • 0.5 cup Red onion (thinly sliced)
  • 0.5 cup Mushrooms (sliced)
  • 0.25 cup Black olives (sliced)
  • 0.25 cup Fresh basil leaves
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.

Step 2

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle. Dust a baking sheet or pizza peel with flour or cornmeal, then place the rolled-out dough on it.

Step 3

Brush the dough with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Mince the garlic and evenly spread it over the dough.

Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
