Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoons Salt
  • 100 grams Powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh orange juice (for glaze)
  • 0.5 teaspoons Fresh orange zest (for garnish, optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, cream the unsalted butter and granulated sugar together with a hand or stand mixer until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the egg, fresh orange zest, fresh orange juice, and vanilla extract to the bowl. Mix until well combined.
