  • 150 grams Smoked bacon (cubed)
  • 1 Yellow onion, finely sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh thyme leaves (optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, mix the all-purpose flour and salt together. Add the cubed unsalted butter and cut it into the flour using a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
