  • 8 ounces Cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 pound Deli roast beef, thinly sliced
  • 3 cups Beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 4 French rolls, halved lengthwise
  • 8 Provolone cheese slices
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

Add the sliced onion and cook for 5-6 minutes until softened and lightly caramelized.

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the mushrooms to the skillet, along with the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms are browned and tender.

Pour the beef broth into the skillet, then stir in the Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and black pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
