  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter (melted and slightly cooled)
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons Butter (for brushing, optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm water and sugar. Sprinkle the yeast on top and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until the mixture becomes foamy.

Add the warm milk, melted butter, egg, and salt to the yeast mixture. Stir until combined.

Gradually add the flour, 1 cup at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Continue until a soft dough forms.
