Ingredients

  • 8 slices Sourdough bread
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup Gruyere cheese
  • 2 large Roma tomatoes
  • 6 leaves Fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Balsamic vinegar
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Slice the Roma tomatoes thinly and place them in a bowl.

Step 2

Drizzle the sliced tomatoes with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and julienned basil leaves. Toss gently to coat and let the mixture sit for 10 minutes to marinate.

In a medium-sized bowl, combine the mozzarella, cheddar, Parmesan, and Gruyere cheeses. Mix well and set aside.

Spread 1/2 tablespoon butter evenly on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
