Ingredients

  • 2 racks (about 4-5 lbs) Baby back ribs
  • 2 tablespoons Smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons Onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon Kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup Apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1.5 cups Your favorite BBQ sauce
  • 1 roll Aluminum foil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C).

Step 2

Remove the membrane from the back of the baby back ribs by slipping a knife under it and pulling it off with a paper towel for better grip.

Step 3

In a small bowl, mix together smoked paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.

Step 4

Pat the ribs dry with a paper towel, then generously rub the spice mixture all over both sides of each rack.

Step 5

Place the ribs on a large piece of aluminum foil (enough to completely wrap each rack) and drizzle the apple cider vinegar over them. Wrap each rack tightly in the foil to seal in the moisture.

Step 6

Place the wrapped ribs on a baking sheet and bake for 3 hours in the preheated oven.

Step 7

After 3 hours, remove the ribs from the oven and carefully unwrap them. Be cautious of the hot steam.

Step 8

Brush the ribs evenly with honey, then generously coat with your favorite BBQ sauce.

Step 9

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or set your oven's broiler to high.

Step 10

Grill or broil the ribs for 5-7 minutes per side, or until the BBQ sauce becomes caramelized and sticky. Watch closely to avoid burning.

Step 11

Remove the ribs from the grill or oven and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing into individual ribs.

Step 12

Serve hot and enjoy the delicious, fall-off-the-bone goodness!
