  • 150 grams granulated sugar

  • 300 grams all-purpose flour

  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 30 grams pearl sugar (optional, for topping)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, cream the unsalted butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.

Beat in the egg until fully incorporated. Add the vanilla extract and milk, and mix again until smooth.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, ground cardamom, and salt.
