Ingredients

  • 400 grams tofu
  • 1 medium head green cabbage
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 large carrot
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 250 milliliters vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoons ground allspice
  • 0.5 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 4 cups cooked rice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess water, then cut it into small cubes.

Step 2

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat. Add the tofu cubes and cook until lightly browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside.

Peel and dice the onion. Mince the garlic cloves. Peel and grate the carrot. Shred the cabbage into thin slices.
