Directions

Step 1

Rinse the white and brown rice under cold water using a fine-mesh sieve until the water runs clear. This step removes excess starch and prevents the rice from becoming sticky.

In a medium-sized pot, combine the white rice, brown rice, water, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
