Ingredients

  • 400 grams fettuccine pasta
  • 200 grams ham
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons black pepper (freshly ground)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add the fettuccine and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.

While the pasta cooks, slice the ham into thin strips and set aside.
