  • 4 pieces hamburger buns
  • 4 pieces lettuce leaves
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise or tzatziki sauce (optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, crumbled feta cheese, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and oregano. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

Step 2

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into burger patties about 3/4-inch thick. Use your thumb to make a small indentation in the center of each patty to help it cook evenly.

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Brush the grill grates lightly with olive oil to prevent sticking.
