  • 0.5 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Dried Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 24 oz Marinara sauce
  • 12 oz Spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.

Step 2

Roll the mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs and set them aside on a plate or tray.

Step 3

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs, spacing them apart, and cook for 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides.

Step 4

Remove the browned meatballs from the skillet and set them aside on a plate. Drain any excess grease from the skillet, if necessary.

Step 5

Pour the marinara sauce into the skillet and bring it to a simmer. Add the meatballs back into the skillet, ensuring they are fully submerged in the sauce. Cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes until the meatballs are cooked through.

While the meatballs are simmering, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain the spaghetti and set aside.
