Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Pita bread
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 head Romaine lettuce
  • 2 medium Tomatoes
  • 1 large Cucumber
  • 1 small Red onion
  • 5 pieces Radishes
  • 1 cup Fresh parsley
  • 0.5 cup Fresh mint leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Sumac
  • 3 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Cut the pita bread into small triangles or strips and place them on a baking tray.

Step 3

Drizzle 3 tablespoons of olive oil over the pita pieces, sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and toss to coat evenly.

Step 4

Bake the pita bread in the oven for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp. Set aside to cool.

Meanwhile, wash and chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.
